Ingredients
 

  • 1 lb ground beef, cooked
  • 4 tablespoons taco seasoning, divided
  • 16 ounces refried beans
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives, (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Layer 1 - Spread refried beans as the first layer into bottom of 9x13 glass dish.
  • Layer 2 - Cook one pound of ground beef on stovetop on medium heat until there is no pink. Add 2 tablespoons taco seasoning. Mix together. Spread seasoned beef as the next layer.
  • Layer 3 - Microwave 4 ounces cream cheese in a small bowl for 15-20 seconds. Add 8 ounces of sour cream. Use a hand-held mixer to blend both cheeses together until light and creamy. Add 2 tablespoons taco seasoning. Mix together. Spread layer over seasoned beef.
  • Layer 4 - Sprinkle 1 cup shredded cheese as the next layer.
  • Layer 5 - Spread 1 cup shredded lettuce as the next layer.
  • Layer 6 & 7 - Sprinkle 1/2 cup diced tomato and diced onion on top.
  • Refrigerate for at least 60 minutes before serving.
